Electrosonic SA adds HUAWEI eKit IdeaHub to its Collaboration Display Portfolio
Johannesburg, 29 June 2026 — Electrosonic SA has announced the addition of the HUAWEI eKit IdeaHub range of intelligent collaboration devices to its product portfolio, complementing its established MAXHUB collaboration range while expanding the company’s offering in interactive displays for education, training, and corporate environments across South Africa.
The HUAWEI eKit IdeaHub range includes the IdeaHub Board 3 Pro and IdeaHub S3 series, available in 65", 75", and 86" screen sizes, alongside a complete ecosystem of OPS computing modules, mobile stands, wall mounts, and wireless presentation accessories.
Purpose-built for classrooms — and accessible for corporate
The HUAWEI eKit IdeaHub Board 3 Pro is positioned as Electrosonic SA’s primary solution for the South African education market. Designed for classroom and training-room deployment, the Board 3 Pro combines an infrared touch interactive screen with the collaboration tools, content-sharing, and connectivity that modern teaching demands — delivered at a price point that makes large-scale rollouts viable for schools, universities, and training institutions.
The same product also addresses a growing demand in the corporate sector for high-quality interactive displays at a more accessible price tier — ideal for meeting rooms, huddle spaces, and training facilities where the budget for premium-tier panels may not be available.

While the Huawei IdeaHub range supports Microsoft Teams meetings, it is not MTR-certified, making MAXHUB Electrosonic SA’s recommended platform for customers building dedicated Teams Rooms.
