The modern boardroom featured in this article is located at Kramer’s Johannesburg offices on Weltevreden Road in Blackheath, where the Electrosonic SA team designed and implemented a fully integrated AV system to showcase the latest in meeting-room technology. This space serves as a live demonstration environment for clients to experience Kramer’s cutting-edge BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and BYOM (Bring Your Own Meeting) solutions in action.

1. 86" Interactive Touch Display
- Large-format 4K display with full multi-touch functionality.
- Enables interactive presentations, digital whiteboarding, and annotation.
- When connected via USB-C, the display not only mirrors the user’s laptop but also allows full touch control of the BYOD device directly from the screen, giving presenters complete control without needing to use their keyboard or trackpad.

3. Video Conferencing Cameras
- 4K Conference Camera: Provides ultra-clear imaging for remote participants, ideal for high-quality presentations and speaker-focused video.
- Cam360 AI Camera: Intelligent 360° coverage with auto-framing and speaker tracking. Ensures remote attendees see the entire room and the active speaker without manual adjustment.
4. Signal Management – Kramer SWT3-31-HU-TR Switcher
- High-performance switching for multiple sources (HDMI, USB-C, etc.).
- Fast, seamless switching with signal extension and scaling.
- Ensures stable connectivity for both wired and wireless sources.
5. Audio System
- Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling Microphone: Beamforming microphone array with automatic speaker tracking. Provides full-room coverage without the need for handheld or tabletop mics, keeping the space clean and modern.
- Kramer DSP-62AEC: Digital signal processor with AEC (Acoustic Echo Cancellation). Ensures crystal-clear voice pickup, echo-free conferencing, and optimized audio tuning for both local and remote participants.
- Kramer PA-120Z Amplifier: Professional-grade power amplifier delivering reliable, high-fidelity sound reinforcement to the in-room loudspeakers. Ensures even audio coverage across the room, supporting both spoken word and multimedia playback.
